Overall Goal: To extend impactful outreach programs and services that raise awareness, provide support, and create inclusive communities for individuals with autism, ensuring their integration, acceptance, and access to necessary resources.

General Objectives:
1. Conduct community workshops on autism awareness.
2. Organise support groups for parents and carers.
3. Provide counselling services for families and individuals affected by autism.

Main Activities:
1. 1.1 Develop and execute community workshop programs.
2. 1.2 Collaborate with schools, community centres, and local authorities for outreach initiatives.
3. 2.1 Establish and organise support groups.
4. 2.2 Facilitate information sharing and resource distribution in support groups.

▪ Family Support and Resources
Across the scope of services at Caleb Centre, we provide expert resources to parents, carers, and families to address their specific needs. We understand that quality education and care require a good support system. It is our goal to ensure that families can thrive together and have all the tools and services needed to attend to all aspects of their physical and mental well-being and security. Services include support groups, financial wellness coaching, mental health services, and respite opportunities.

Autism is not inhibition.

▪ Youth and Transition Services
Caleb Centre services for youth and young adults provide individualised, community-based programming and in-school supports to foster independent living as they transition with disabilities into the workforce or into post-secondary education. We support each student so they can achieve their goals for the next chapter in their lives by emphasising adult daily living and social skills, as well as health and wellness.

Transition programs are led by Caleb Centre staff, coordinators, mentors, and specialists who are experts in helping youth and young adults navigate what can often be a challenging and confusing time in life. We are there to ensure each student is set up for success and is prepared to leverage every opportunity to build a fulfilling and purposeful future in a nurturing, compassionate environment.

Services include:
▪ Advocacy for youth and families to assist them in preparing for their futures
▪ Support groups, networking, and social events
▪ Referrals to community resources and support
▪ Support and education to apply for a job, college, or university; handling personal finances,
▪ maintaining healthy relationships, shelter assessment and support, securing transportation, and other essential living needs.
▪ Mentorships designed to improve community involvement, relationship building, self-esteem, confidence, and mental health.
▪ Recreational activities are offered to develop friendships and a sense of empowerment.
